These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of the Guided Payroll Onboarding Services by Employment Hero Pty Ltd or its Partners, and apply in conjunction with The Employment Hero Platform terms and conditions.
1. What is Guided Payroll Onboarding?
Guided Payroll onboarding will lead you through your 45-day onboarding journey via self-guided setup using Hero Hub, Help Centre articles (24/7) and in-moment chat support (available during operating hours) that will help you set up your Payroll Platform and meet all your payroll needs. The 45-day onboarding time frame allows adequate time to ensure you and your employees can get immediate value from the Employment Hero platform.
Your onboarding journey is considered complete when your payroll account reaches ‘Go Live’. For Payroll Accounts in Australia ‘Go Live’ is defined by completing the tasks below:
- Finalised your pay run
- Published payslips
- Submitted the STP pay event to the ATO
2. Term of Onboarding Services
The onboarding timeline will commence on the first business day following the later of (1) receipt of the signed agreement, and (2) receipt of your billing information from you (Start Date).
Access to the Guided Payroll Onboarding Services will be available for up to 60 days from your Start Date (the Term). If your Term expires before you have completed onboarding, you will automatically transition from our specialised Onboarding Support team to our General Support team accessed via the chat function and continue to utilise Hero Hub content to facilitate the set up of your platform.
Guided Combined Journey: When you purchase both HR and Payroll products the Term of Onboarding Services for the Combined Journey is 60 days from your Start Date. All other T&Cs remain the same.
3. Onboarding Services:
3.1 What is in scope
- You will receive an invitation to the Hero Hub to access the onboarding resources, this is your onboarding kick off communication from the team. You will then use the Hero Hub to guide you through the setup of the platform features.
- Access to in-moment support with our Onboarding team who specialise in platform set up, who will facilitate support via chat.
- Access to our Help Centre from within the platform with detailed Onboarding resources to walk you through how to set up additional features and customise your platform to your preferences.
- The Employment Hero Work app comes free with your Employment Hero subscription see Employment Hero Work Superapp for more information and Employment Hero Work Rewards Terms of Use.
3.2 What is out of scope
- Guided Payroll Onboarding does not include technical or support services outside of the scope of services listed under Section 3.1.
- The guided onboarding service is designed to be self-driven by you. We will provide education through our online articles in Hero Hub and the Help Centre, that you will then use to configure the system to suit your business needs.
- The services do not include dedicated Payroll consultants. Your support interactions will be facilitated via chat, however, you may at times be offered alternative forms of support at the sole discretion of Employment Hero.
- You are responsible for the entire set-up and launch of your system, by achieving the outlined milestones within your platform.
- The client is responsible for undertaking and completing system testing. (if applicable)
- Employment Hero does not provide education or advice on payroll Legislation or Award interpretation.
- Employment Hero does not provide an individual review of your system.
4. Invoicing
- Payment of fees will be raised via invoice with 14 day payment terms. Invoices are charged to the payment method on file on the invoice due date.
- Please note that failure to make payment within the Payment Terms invalidates any/all discounts that may be offered. This is to ensure your place in our schedule and allows us to allocate resources to begin work.
5. General
- Employment Hero reserves its rights to terminate the application of any promotions/offers/discounts early in full or in part at its absolute discretion.
- Employment Hero collects personal information in connection with this service. Employment Hero may, for the purpose of conducting this service, disclose such information to third parties, including agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers and, as required, to regulatory agencies. Provision of these services are conditional on providing this information.
- Personal information Employment Hero collects in connection with these services are managed in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Employment Hero (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, for any loss or damage arising in in connection with the provision of these Services, including any:
- Technical difficulties, the Content provided or service disruptions (whether or not under Employment Hero control);
- Eligible Customers use of the resources and modules.
